NO KIDDING: Matthew McConaughey stars in Christopher Nolan’s new two-hour and 45-minute film Interstellar, scheduled for release by Paramount Pictures and Warner Brothers in Imax theaters on November 5, then in nationwide release November 7. The story in a nutshell (so to speak) involves McConaughey searching for a new planet to save mankind, womankind, and transgenderkind from global warming/climate change/extreme weather/manbearpig. All the fruit and vegetables on Earth have died, leaving only corn to eat. After a huge fire burns up all the corn, McConaughey pilots a spaceship through a mysterious wormhole near Saturn so that he, his crew of strong women, and a sarcastic robot named TARS, can search for new planets in other galaxies and fight against Chinese robot construction crews. Shot without a laugh track.
