PAGING MANBEARPIG: Vice Magazine has launched new online scifi mag (or is it a hub?) named Terraform. On the good side, Terraform has a vision for restorying conventional short stories into alternative forms of information, such as "fictive data dumps, experimental graphic narratives" and "listicles, data visualizations, video collages, tweetstorms." On the down side, their drive to promote new forms of storytelling is tied to an apparent antagonism to speculative fiction dealing with long term technological advancement, which the hub derisively terms "far flungspace operas." The mag prefers story submissions promoting overused politically correct plot devices such as "climate-changed dystopias." Novelty through tired conformity.
